Funded by NASA, LOXSAT is a technology demonstration satellite that will test a series of cryogenic fluid management technologies in space, including zero-loss storage and transfer and cryogenic pressure control. Scheduled for launch in late 2024, LOXSAT will be stationed in Low Earth Orbit (LEO) for a total of 9 months. Upon proving these technologies in microgravity, LOXSAT will make way for Cryo-Dock™, a fully commercial cryogenic propellant depot in space.
In-space propellant resupply is a critical enabling technology for sustainable space exploration. Eta Space is developing propellant depots for orbital and lunar polar locations, with sizing for a variety of mission architectures. From Aerogel to Zero Boil Off, we develop and deploy advanced cryogenic systems critical to the future of space.
When every milliwatt is precious, Eta Space is ready to optimize your systems for maximum efficiency. Our engineers are experts in both active and passive thermal management for applications of minimizing heat leak and managing heat flow.
Introducing the world's first cryogenic propellant depot in orbit. Cryo-Dock™ is the first step in enabling sustainable space exploration by servicing spacecraft stages and orbital transfer vehicles with high-energy cryogenic propellants through a standardized, automatic umbilical.
LOXSAT will launch in 2024 on a Rocket Lab Electron. Follow us for more updates!
