Funded by NASA, LOXSAT is a technology demonstration satellite that will test a series of cryogenic fluid management technologies in space, including zero-loss storage and transfer and cryogenic pressure control. Scheduled for launch in late 2025, LOXSAT will be stationed in Low Earth Orbit (LEO) for a total of 9 months. Upon proving these technologies in microgravity, LOXSAT will make way for Cryo-Dock™, a fully commercial cryogenic propellant depot in space.
LOXSAT will launch in 2026 on a Rocket Lab Electron. Follow us for more updates!
